The Burundian Office for Environmental Protection (OBPE) is organizing a workshop to validate a concept note on energy which will be held from 7 to 8 March 2025 at the Chez André Restaurant in the city of Bujumbura. This workshop is part of the project “Strengthening capacities to mobilize funding for biodiversity and climate resilience in Burundi” funded by the International Organization of la Francophonie (OIF) through the Institut de la Francophonie for Sustainable Development (IFDD) and implemented by the Burundian Office for Environmental Protection (OBPE). The aim of the project is to train public sector officials and local NGOs on the mobilization of climate and biodiversity funding, prioritize and build a portfolio of climate and biodiversity projects, and develop three priority projects to be submitted to the climate and biodiversity hotspots, in particular to the Adaptation Fund.
